Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil engineer-region Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee all civil engineering operations within their designated region, ensuring project delivery, team development, and business growth. This leader will work closely with senior leadership to drive regional business strategies, manage client relationships, and oversee the execution of complex engineering projects from inception to completion.

14. Duties
  • Regional Leadership: Lead and manage civil engineering teams across multiple regional projects, providing guidance and support to ensure technical excellence and timely delivery.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects including infrastructure, transportation, water resources, and site development.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region, cultivate relationships with key clients, and lead proposal development for regional projects.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients within the region, ensuring their needs are met, and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all projects comply with relevant engineering standards, local regulations, and company policies.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks on projects and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Requirements
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Clean Background check
  • Ability to communicate clearly via phone, virtual meetings, and in person.
  • This position requires you to travel to multiple office locations using your vehicle. You will be reimbursed for mileage and travel expenses. 100/300/100 Auto liability limits are required.

Qualifications (required related experience)
  • Ability to lead and motivate staff members efficiently and effectively
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Good visualization, organization, and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a deadline-driven, demanding environment
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Proficient in HydroCAD
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Projects, etc.)

Education (required minimum education level):
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience
  • 1+ years in a leadership role

Certifications/ Licensure
  • P.E. License
