Job Summary:

The Entry-level Civil Engineer role is a position within Trihydros Infrastructure and Natural Resources Business Unit. As a member of our team, you will assist with developing solutions for water agencies, municipalities, and private clients addressing civil infrastructure and water resource needs and improvements. You will develop or improve infrastructure systems including water, sanitary sewer, transportation, and stormwater.

This full-time position requires approximately 40-45 hours per week. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this opportunity is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing technical research
  • Performing design calculations
  • Drafting figures, preparing construction plan sets, and design modeling
  • Preparing technical memorandums and reports
  • Developing cost estimates
  • Preparing permit applications
  • Conducting field data collection, performing site inspections and inventories, and performing construction observation, monitoring and reporting

Qualifications:

  • You have 0+ years of engineering design experience and are looking for opportunities to build your technical foundation.
  • You have experience with and/or are interested in civil infrastructure, water and wastewater systems, and water resources.

  • You are an engineer-in-training (E.I.T. or F.E.) or have plans to obtain your E.I.T. or F.E. within 6 months.
  • Youre experienced in AutoCAD and Civil 3D or related CADD programs (not required, but this experience will allow you to hit the ground running).
  • You possess strong technical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness; and a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations and other Trihydro offices.
  • You understand the importance of time management and possess excellent organizational skills.
