About the Position
The City of Saint Paul Public Works is hiring a Sewer Design Engineer to perform sewer planning and design activities to repair, replace, and rehabilitate sewer infrastructure for Saint Paul Sewer Utility and Public Works led projects.
Here's what you can expect to do:
  • Research, review, and analyze; sewer records, videos, and databases.
  • Prepare sewer plans and details using AutoCAD.
  • Assemble project bidding documents and cost estimates (e.g. plans, specifications, bid forms).
  • Serve as Sewer Utility representative for sewer design and construction completed as part of City, County, State, and Development projects.

This position works at the City Hall Annex Building, 25 West 4th Street in downtown Saint Paul working the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday.

Position Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a Fundamentals of Engineering Certification and two years of experience as a or equivalent. No substitution for education.
