Job Description
  • Seeking an Experienced Civil Engineer to lead project teams, manage client relationships, and oversee civil engineering projects in land development and infrastructure.
  • Lead land development projects, including site planning, grading, drainage, and utility design.
  • Oversee stormwater management studies, hydrology calculations, and erosion control measures.
  • Serve as the client liaison, ensuring project goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers, CAD designers, and technical staff.
  • Coordinate with survey, engineering, and administrative teams to streamline project execution.
  • Prepare and review engineering reports, technical studies, and construction plans.
  • Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assist with staff hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and refine department policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Support business development efforts, including attending industry events and client meetings.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
  • 5+ years of experience in land development or infrastructure projects.
  • California PE license preferred (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software.
  • Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
  • California driver's license required for site visits.
  • This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to drive projects from concept to completion while ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
