Job Description

You'll collaborate with talented junior and intermediate engineers who will assist you from the proposal stage through to construction.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive engineering assessments, designs, drawings, and specifications for a variety of municipal and private land development projects.
- Engage in design work for water and wastewater systems, transportation infrastructure, retaining walls, erosion control measures, grading and drainage plans, and site servicing.
- Transform preliminary concepts and sketches into detailed engineering designs and plans using Civil 3D and other relevant technical software.
- Assist in the preparation of approval documents, create construction cost estimates, tender documents, and contracts, and collaborate with team members to meet schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Perform field inspections to ensure the quality and progress of ongoing work.
- Over 10 years of experience in a similar role, including experience in leading and mentoring teams of junior and intermediate engineers.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Proven experience in managing and executing projects such as welded steel watermains, sanitary interceptors, and marine crossings.
- Demonstrated high productivity, attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
