Civil Project Manager

Job Description

A growing engineering consulting firm in Asheville, NC is seeking a Civil Project Manager with a strong background in land development to lead multiple projects across residential, commercial, retail, and institutional sectors. This is a direct-hire opportunity with competitive salary, bonuses, and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple land development projects, ensuring budgets, schedules, and client expectations are met.
• Oversee and mentor junior engineers and designers, ensuring high-quality project deliverables.
• Prepare design and construction documents and provide technical guidance throughout all project phases.
• Coordinate with permitting agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to streamline project execution.
• Attend meetings, make presentations, and ensure all project requirements and regulations are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of land development experience (residential, commercial, and/or industrial).
• 3+ years of project management experience within a land development firm.
• Active PE certification in North Carolina or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Job Details:

• Location: Asheville, NC (on-site).
• Salary: $95K - $130K (relocation assistance negotiable).
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday (7:30 AM - 5:30 PM), Friday (7:30 AM - 11:30 AM).
• Work from Home: No.
• Minimal travel and overtime required.
