With 70 years of experience supporting finance teams and providing accounting and finance guidance for our clients, Weaver's practice offers strategic guidance and special project assistance on a temporary or ongoing basis. We are seeking a Senior Manager to provide general accounting and financial advisory services to our clients. This person will play an integral role in expanding Weaver's service offerings, specifically in outsourced accounting, monthly financial reporting and U.S. GAAP financial statements. The candidate will be responsible to build and manage a growing team.
Education and Skills
Annual Base Pay Range in California: $140,000.00 to $190,000.00

We are seeking a Senior Manager to provide general accounting and financial advisory services to our clients. This person will play an integral role in expanding Weaver's service offerings, specifically in outsourced accounting, monthly financial reporting and U.S. GAAP financial statements. The candidate will be responsible to build and manage a growing team.
Education and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other relevant field required
- CPA license required or relevant accounting certification
- 10+ years of experience in audit and/or accounting role with a minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting standards
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Proficiency in QuickBooks preferred
- Experience preparing financial statements using GAAP or other basis of accounting
- Knowledge of GAAP and standards related to compiled/reviewed financial statements
- Experience with Excel at an advanced level including understanding and ability to use pivot tables, V-Lookups, H-Lookups, If/then statements, etc.
- Demonstrated prior team supervision and management experience with team accountability
- Demonstrated expert of business development, strategy, and practice development
- Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
