Salary Range: $70,000-$130,000

POSITION SUMMARY: The Client Executive at CCIG is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships, managing a diverse portfolio, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. This role focuses on self-funding methods, advanced point solutions, and customized benefit structures. You will provide expert advice on employee benefits programs, design customized benefit packages, and act as the primary contact for client inquiries and strategic discussions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Manage a complex and diverse portfolio of clients focusing on self-funding methods, advanced point solutions, and customized benefit structures.
  • Apply high-level technical expertise to ensure optimal benefit design, develop long-term strategic initiatives and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Provide expert advice on employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and more.
  • Design customized benefit packages tailored to each client's organizational goals and employee demographics.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and strategic discussions related to employee benefits.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the company's client base by prospecting and networking within the industry.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to create proposals, presentations, and pitches that effectively communicate the value of our services.
  • Provide strategic advice and recommendations to Client Executive on benefit plan design, compliance, and cost management.
  • Collaborate with Client Executive and clients to develop long-term strategies that align with their business objectives and employee needs.
  • Stay informed about legislative changes and compliance requirements related to employee benefits, guiding clients to ensure adherence.
  • Assist clients with audits, reporting, and legal inquiries related to benefit plans.
  • Analyze cost trends, utilization data, and financial impacts of benefit programs, providing insights to clients for decision-making.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations summarizing key metrics and outcomes of benefit plans.
  • Contribute towards internal workshops, seminars, and training sessions for CCIG and the service team to enhance understanding of benefit options and maximize utilization.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in employee benefits and healthcare reform.
  • Pursue professional certifications (e.g., CEBS) and participate in training programs to expand knowledge and skills.
  • Manage relationships with benefit providers, negotiating contracts, resolving service issues, and ensuring competitive pricing and quality service delivery.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and recommend changes as necessary to optimize service levels and cost efficiency.
  • Leverage technology platforms and tools to streamline benefit administration processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance client accessibility.
  • Collaborate with clients to troubleshoot issues, implement upgrades, and integrate new solutions as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Must hold state Life & Disability insurance.
  • Proactive participation in continuing education classes.

Work Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in Employee Benefits Account Management.
  • 2+ years of similar or related employee benefits experience preferred.

  • Continued education regarding industry knowledge, new product information, legislation, coverage, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
  • Strong understanding of Industry utilization and benchmark data with ability to develop and create multi-year strategic development of client accounts.
  • Interact with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the company.
  • Proficient functional knowledge of Excel specific to creating, formatting, and evaluating formulas, working within and creating templates. Must be proficient in Excel, Word and other MS Office products along with Adobe products.
  • Proficient functional knowledge of PowerPoint specific to creating, formatting, and designing strategic and renewal and other client facing presentations, working within and creating templates. Must be proficient in Excel, Word and other MS Office products along with Adobe products.
  • Advanced problem solving and critical thinking.
  • Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:
  • Pay Range: $70,000 - $130,000 (dependent on experience and/or qualifications)
  • Total Compensation = Pay + Performance Bonus + Benefits

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, tablets, phones, and multi-function printers.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or listen, frequently stand; walk; sit for extended periods of time, use hands; and reach with hands and arms.
