General Description

Overall responsibility and leadership for all Outpatient (Substance Use Disorder treatment, Youth and Family Services, and Outpatient Therapy). This Includes quality assurance/improvement activities, identification/implementation of clinical training needs, administrative management of critical incidents, management of external clinical audits, certifications and accreditation, clinical service development and implementation of a recovery-oriented service philosophy. Participation in agency planning/development, supporting compliance grievance processes. Development, implementation and review of clinical policy and procedures

Job Duties
  • Identify potential areas for program development consistent with organizational mission
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to assess and increase capacity across treatment teams
  • Organize data from QA/QI activities that will allow organization to identify trends and assist in agency decision making
  • Compile reports addressing agency-wide clinical concerns for VP of Clinical Services
  • Actively engage with internal and external committees as assigned/needed
  • Provide and document regularly scheduled supervision with Program Managers
  • Oversee grant implementation and tracking, while collaborating with grant dept for reporting requirements
  • Oversee completion of annual performance reviews for direct supervisees as well as program staff
  • Oversee alignment with Fidelity measures as appropriate for team
  • Develop, nurture and maintain positive relationships with consumers/families, other provider agencies, funders and the general community
  • Hire and train program manager staff.
  • Collaborate with Compliance Director on resolution of all critical incidents and grievances
  • Collaborate with Treatment teams on goal development, management of data metrics, and programmatic shifts based on clinical outcomes
  • Manage the process for assessing consumer satisfaction and make recommendations on efforts to improve
  • Oversee the process for regular review of clinical charts for content and quality
  • Provide leadership toward a person-centered recovery oriented clinical service philosophy
  • Ensure compliance with audits (both internal and external)
  • Write, audit, and oversee compliance with policies and procedures, making recommendations to the VP of Clinical Services.
  • Support items needed to maintain CARF accreditation
  • Collaborate with Employee Development Dept. to ensure appropriate credentialing per position requirements
  • All other duties assigned by Vice President of Clinical Services.


Requirements

  • Full Clinical Licensure in Social Work, Counseling, or Mariage and Family Therapy.
  • Program or project management experience.
  • Background in mental health, substance use, and/or youth treatment services.
  • Experience in treatment provision, program implementation, and program oversight.
  • Experience supervising clinical staff.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
