Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards aligned with the organizations objectives and ethical standards.
- Oversee departmental operations, including patient care delivery, service level determination, and compliance management, to ensure quality and performance objectives are met.
- Manage staffing activities, including recruitment, orientation, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and continuing education programs.
- Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets to ensure operations remain within allocated funding.
- Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Create an environment that promotes professional development and growth among team members.
- Integrate evidence-based practices into departmental operations and clinical protocols to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required. Masters degree preferred.
- Licensure: Active RN license in the state of employment.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a clinical leadership role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, strategic planning, and budgeting capabilities.
