Job Description

Summary:
Under direction of the department manager, this position completes review of OASIS documents, physician orders including the plan of care, as well as other clinical documentation to identify discrepancies, potential errors or other inconsistencies. Responsible for ICD home care coding source documents (OASIS or other documents) as well as completing adjustments to OASIS MO items in accordance with regulatory requirements. Interact directly with clinical field staff regarding document reviews. Provides feedback to clinical leadership and staff and others on areas for staff education as well as potential areas of risk related to documentation.

Education And Credentials

Responsibilities:
AAS - Associate of Applied Science in Nursing is required. BS - Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy is required. BS - Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred. Registered Nurse and Licensed Physical Therapist upon hire required. OASIS certification for Homecare upon hire and maintain during employment preferred. ICD 10 certification for Homecare upon hire and maintain during employment preferred.

Experience

Other information:
3 years of experience in a clinical setting required. 2 years of experience in a home care setting required.

Salary Range: $40.80 -$50.90
