What You'll Be Doing
The Clinical Pharmacist Coordinator reports to the Director of Pharmacy Services and has responsibility for monitoring, evaluating and coordinating clinical pharmacy services, participating in the DSRIP and bundling program, and assisting with Medication Reconciliation and patient education. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: coordinating clinically -related quality improvement programs, participation in patient care related activities, and high risk medication monitoring. The Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator will work in the Emergency Department, and assist in medication order verification.
What We're Looking For
Education: Pharm D. Graduate of an ACPE -Accredited School of Pharmacy; Post Graduate Residency Training; NJ License
Experience: Hospital/Clinical Pharmacy Experience preferred
Skills: Ability to communicate clearly in English, both orally and in writing. Demonstrated people/interpersonal skills. Ability to organize work tasks and work area. Ability to use problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills. Ability to perform diversified duties within high degree of accuracy.
VII) PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
A) Frequent standing/sitting. B) Occasionally lifts supplies / equipment. C) Ability to ambulate for 8 hours per day. D) Manual dexterity to manipulate/utilize equipment. Auditory acuity Visual acuity G) Subject to unpredictable situations. H) Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries.
