- Position Summary This position consists of 40 hours per week.
- Staff pharmacists fill/verify orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapy regimens, provide drug information, and supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.
- Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Degree from a recognized/accredited School/college of Pharmacy required. Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Degree or Master's Degree in Hospital Pharmacy or Business Administration preferred.
- License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license with Board of Pharmacy required.
- Experience: Three years of experience in compounding preferred in a large academic medical center preferred. General or specialized pharmacy residency preferred.
