- Supports the development of planning for the study, implementation, and manage day-to-day operations of research programs.
- Translate planning and design decisions into concrete activities and tasks, assign these tasks, and set priorities for their implementation.
- Ensure proper communication among stakeholders, staff, study sponsors, and investigators, to coordinate the assigned directives and accomplish deliverables. The work includes monitoring and coordinating research project operations, including project plans, timelines, and tasks.
- Coordination of staff, faculty, and volunteers in regard to research projects, ensuring that daily tasks are completed, and project timelines are communicated across the team and met.
- Develop project/work plan. Monitor progress, identify and resolve barriers to progress, and work with project leadership to make any necessary adjustments to scope, timeline, and/or budget.
- Coordinate data collection activities including conducting interviews; coordinating survey printing, online survey creation, and distribution; creating and maintaining project timelines; facilitating participating site intervention activities and maintaining contact with sites; recruiting research participants; and coordinating with electronic health records (EHR) and information technology (IT) development staff.
- Deliver safe nursing interventions in an organized, efficient, and prioritized manner under the direction of the clinical trial protocol and PI.
- Administer protocol medications as needed and coordinate with specialized nursing departments to insure protocol adherence.
- Maintaining project compliance with research regulations including creating and renewing IRB protocols, serving as custodian for human subjects' payments, and managing budgets.
- Maintains the Delegation of Authority Log and Training logs, ensuring that all staff have received updated training.
Competencies & Skills

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to complete applicable CITI training.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, including Word, Excel).
- Familiarity with EHR: Cerner, EPIC, Allscripts, Mosaic.
