Location - West Sacramento, CA (HYBRID)
The Senior Clinical Affairs Scientist will support the Clinical Affairs team during Microbiology antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) clinical trials. Working under a Clinical project lead, the incumbent will write clinical plans, protocols and reports for Microbiology clinical trials. Selecting organisms for clinical trial testing. Interpretation and analysis of clinical trial data, conducting data reviews. Updating project lead(s) with data and any issues will be required, as well as an ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a Life Science or related field with 5+ years experience OR Master's degree in Life Science or related field with 3+ years of experience. Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment. Ability to problem solve is a must. Knowledge of good clinical practices (GCP), good documentation practices (GDP), and strong writing skills desired. Attention to detail and good organizational skills required. Ability to be flexible and work in a rapidly changing task environment and with variety of tasks. Familiarity with Excel, Word and data analysis is desired.
