Compensation Range
The base pay scale for this position is $113,799.49 - $129,799.49. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
What you will be doing
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Previous experience in Healthcare/Medical setting as a Social Worker with Discharge Planning. Experience in supportive counseling for inpatients, especially with trauma, post-orthopedic surgery, substance abuse, chronic pain, child abuse/domestic violence and social barriers to discharge. Complex discharge planning experience.
Additional Requirements
Training and experience with assessment and brief counseling support; knowledge of DSM-V as diagnostic tool for assessment and counseling; experience with crisis intervention. NYS Screen Certified.
Educational Requirements
A Bachelor's degree BSW.
EDUCATION - Preferred

- Safety & Compliance: Reporting environmental hazards, near misses, or process concerns to enhance workplace safety. All employees must complete mandatory annual in-services and training.
- Cyber Security: Ensuring responsible use of HSS information assets, protecting passwords, identifying phishing attempts, and following security protocols for handling sensitive data.
