Manages drug therapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.

Evaluates medication orders for accuracy and completeness prior to order entry. Checks for accuracy after filling by technicians.

Maintains adequate knowledge of pharmacy automated systems and computer software.

Qualifications
Minimum Education
Doctor of Pharmacy - Required

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Licenses: State of Tennessee Pharmacist licensure - Required
PGY-1 Residency or BCPS Certification - Preferred
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required within 90 days of hire, if not current upon hire.
