Clinical Lead

Salary Range: $100,000


The START (Systemic, Therapeutic, Assessment, Resources, and Treatment) model serves people diagnosed with intellectual/developmental disabilities and co-occurring behavioral health conditions. This comprehensive model of service supports and optimizes independence, treatment, and community living for individuals with I/DD and behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative supervision to START Coordinators and daily clinical triage support.
  • Maintain linkages and relationships with community partners.
  • Ensure the coordination of support meetings and crisis plans for individuals served through START.
  • Share on-call responsibilities to ensure 24/7 response to crisis situations within one hour of a call telephonically and within 24 hours of a call face-to-face.

  • Development of cross-systems crisis plans, intake/assessments, intervention and outcomes, and any other applicable documentation of services provided.
  • Maintain a small, active caseload (about 5 cases) until START Coordinator


Certification is achieved.
  • Following certification, team leader caseload should be fluid and temporary to provide the opportunity to support START Coordinators when needed.


Requirements:
  • MA in Mental Health, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or other Human


Service field
  • At least 2 years of experience working with I/DD population
  • Experience working with individuals with I/DD and mental health and/or challenging behavior needs preferred
  • One year supervisory experience is preferred
  • Prior experience as a START Coordinator preferred or the ability to become certified within 12 months
  • Bilingual Spanish/Vietnamese a plus
  • Driver's license required
