Requirements
- Experience in system administration and monitoring large distributed systems with multiple clusters and at least 60 nodes per site.
- Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex cloud computing systems, with familiarity in distributed systems for data storage and retrieval (e.g., Hadoop, CASSANDRA, SCALITY).
- Strong aptitude for working within a structured team, adhering to SOPs, and effectively communicating with senior technical resources.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and leverage guidance from experienced team members.
- Capability to work independently on intricate tasks, demonstrating a readiness to educate and train junior team members.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, or Python, with at least three years of experience.
- In-depth understanding of Linux OS, including user/group account management in LDAP and configuration of DHCP, DNS, and TFTP.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet and SALT, and familiarity with Linux PXE/Network provisioning.
- Skills in remote system access and troubleshooting, including hardware diagnosis and repair.
- Knowledge of OpenSSL, Java keystore manipulation, and troubleshooting of commodity hardware platforms.
