Cloud Application Developer

Gridiron IT is seeking a Cloud Application Developer to support a federal program in Washington, DC.

Role Description:
NodeJS Developer will: develop, deliver and support operations for a custom built system that helps our client execute their mission critical business processes.

In this role, you will: Be involved in most stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from development through implementation. This includes understanding of technical designs, code development, and component test execution in order to demonstrate that the finished components function as per the specification. Support issue analysis and fix during assembly test, product test and regression test. Develop a broad set of technology skills in web technologies, Service Oriented Architecture concepts, Open-Source frameworks and technology architecture concepts. Specific Serverless technology skills that will be gained include: Nodejs, python, NoSQL DBs, OAuth, AWS services

Mandatory Skills:

• Web Application Development using JavaScript using VS Code IDE.
• Developing systems using AWS Serverless Framework.
• Well Versed version control tools like Git, Subversion, Jenkins

Preferred experience:

• 6+ months of Node experience preference preferred.
• 6+ months of experience on DBMS (DynamoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Familiar with Configuration Management Tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet
