Overview

Join our Systems Development team and help make a difference as a Cloud Engineering Supervisor.

This important role will be responsible for leading a team of Azure Cloud, Data Center, and DevOps engineers to align technology solutions with business strategies to improve business processes within strategic system goals You will also contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our cloud environment while providing specialized technical or business knowledge to projects. This position will lead both project and functional management efforts and will collaborate with other development related functional areas such as architecture, product management, and project management.

To be successful in this role you must possess:
  • Several years of experience designing, developing, modifying, and administering an Azure environment in support of applications and data services.
  • Several years of lead/supervisory experience directly leading software or infrastructure/cloud engineering teams.
  • Experience with migrating on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with infrastructure configuration tools such as Bicep, Terraform, Ansible, etc.
  • Experience developing and administrating Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience leading or participating on multi-discipline, high-performance work teams/groups in an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate would also have experience in:
  • Strong technical knowledge with modern service hosting, security, and risk management concerns such as IAM, access control, monitoring, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, and containers.
  • Practical working knowledge of operating in a private/public/hybrid cloud model.
  • Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, security handling at the resource, application and data levels, vulnerability assessments, and applications.
  • Knowledge of the assigned business area's products and processes; experience in the strategic use of technology in managing and growing a business.
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business.
  • Strong project management skills; experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors; ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives.
