THE PROGRAM
The DarkStar Group is a member of 100% of the winning teams for the largest technology program in the Intel Community. We've been supporting this customer on many different sub-projects of this program since our founding in 2013. We've grown on this effort by providing the customer with Engineers who have done exceptional work, and we've retained our staff by paying very strong salaries, and working hard to ensure each Engineer is doing work that aligns with their career interest.
THE PROJECT
The Sponsor's office seeks to minimize risk in supply chain activities by anticipating issues, responding to concerns, and advising decision-makers on risks. We accomplish our mission by working collaboratively with mission partners for the safety and security of the Sponsor organization. We are a forward-leaning, multidisciplinary group of supply chain, technology, and analyst experts leveraging numerous threat reporting, industry best practices, lessons learned from offensive processes and evolving production in order to identify risks and champion mitigation strategies for a secure and resilient global supply chain. The Sponsor's office researches and analyzes potential supply chain events looking for any nexus to any external services, generates collection requirements to close supply chain gaps. This office promotes robust awareness and integrates analytic assessments in order to support supply chain operation executors and consumers.

THE ROLE
- The Contractor shall work with internal and external stakeholders
- The Contractor shall develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloud computing solutions in consultation with relevant stakeholders for the supply chain risk management information cloud technology project
- The Contractor shall work with security and the team to ensure data protection is in place in support of the supply chain risk management information technology cloud project
- The Contractor shall identify errors that might jeopardize cloud security and provide corrective action in support of the supply chain risk management information technology cloud project
- The Contactor shall test designs to find and fix errors and make system improvements for the supply chain risk management information technology cloud project
- The Contractor shall optimize specific system operations to enhance efficiency and speed in support of the supply chain risk management information technology cloud project
- The Contractor shall periodically evaluate the supply chain risk management information technology cloud project and make recommendations for performance enhancements
- The Contractor shall participate in technical exchange meetings with stakeholders on cloud technical requirements for the supply chain risk management information technology project
- The Contractor shall assess vendor vetting cloud requirements in consultation with relevant stakeholders
- The Contractor shall provide Weekly Status Reports
Required Skills
- Demonstrated experience maintaining Linux, Unix, or Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Demonstrated experience with building and optimizing cloud solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with web services and application programming interfaces (APIs).
- Demonstrated experience working in DevOps environments using tools such as, containerization, docker, or Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated experience with building, testing, implementing, and maintaining cloud architectures.
- Demonstrated experience with designing, implementing, configuring, maintaining databases (including updates and debugging), relocation, security, and developer support.
- Demonstrated experience with creating and configuring virtual private clouds.
- Demonstrated experience creating EC2 instances, public and private subnets, and auto scaling groups.
- Demonstrated experience configuring load balancers and security groups.
- Demonstrated experience creating users and groups, for example, using AWS IdAM.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating systems and making recommendations to increase availability and efficiency.
- Demonstrated experience with compliance, cloud governance, and security policies.
- Demonstrated experience using Python, Perl, Java, and Ruby in a cloud environment.
Desired Skills (Optional)
- Demonstrated experience working on Amazon Web Services environments or other cloud service providers (CSP) environments.
- Demonstrated experience creating and implementing cloud service usage policies.
- Demonstrated experience using Python to deliver operational ML capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience with distributed data/data computing tools.
- Demonstrated familiarity with the Amazon Web Services infrastructure or other cloud service providers (CSP) infrastructure.
- Demonstrated familiarity with the data science capabilities native to Amazon Web Services or other cloud service providers (CSP).
- Demonstrated familiarity with AI and machine learning solutions.
- Demonstrated familiarity working with Golang and PHP programming languages.
- Bachelor or Master' Degree in an IT discipline
