Cloud Engineer

Essential Functions:

• Work as a collaborative member of a high-profile team
• Program and script using one or more languages (Python, Ansible, Java, C++)
• Provision cloud access and accounts
• Systems optimization at the OS and infrastructure levels in an AWS cloud environment
• AWS cloud administration (EC2, EBS, S3, IAM, Lambda)
• RHEL systems administration (OS patching, shell scripting, storage management)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject-matter experts.

Required Experience:

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
• Experienced with AWS Cloud infrastructure and services
• Experienced with Linux command line
• Years of Experience: Mid Level, 5-8 years of experience. Senior -10+ years of experience.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical field (preferred)
• Location: Chantilly, VA (On-site)
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ ability to obtain CI Poly

• AWS certification (AWS Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps Admin)
• Red Hat Certification (Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator, Red Hat Certified Engineer)
• Microsoft Office proficiency
