Cloud Lead Consultant

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer Lead to guide our cloud infrastructure team in delivering cutting-edge solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across [specific cloud platforms, e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP].
• Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Oversee the deployment of cloud infrastructure, applications, and services, while ensuring best practices and automation.
• Implement and enforce security measures and compliance standards for cloud environments, including access controls, encryption, and auditing.
• Continuously monitor and optimize cloud resources to improve performance and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to establish cloud governance models, security protocols, and architectural standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance in resolving complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with cloud service providers, manage vendor relationships, and stay updated on new features and offerings.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Stay at the forefront of cloud industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, driving continuous improvement in our cloud offerings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Extensive experience architecting and implementing complex cloud solutions on Azure, GCP and AWS platforms, with a proven track record of successful project deliveries.
• Expertise in cloud migration strategies, including re-architecting and re-platforming.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Terraform, Ansible).
• Proven leadership skills and experience in managing a technical team.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect are a plus.
