Description:
We are looking for candidates passionate about craftsmanship, teamwork, and delivering user capability to join OST supporting the Air Force weather community on the Technology Application Development & Sustainment (TADS) contract. All work is 100 percent onsite in Offutt, Nebraska. The successful candidate will work within a cross-functional team to provide hands-on experience designing, installing, configuring, monitoring and maintaining enterprise systems. Candidates will also support the shift to cloud frameworks for some enterprise functionality.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following characteristics: Growth Mindset Self-Starter Servant Leadership Grit Required Skills: * Clearance: Secret
* Bachelor's degree and zero years of experience
* Knowledge of one or more operating systems such as Linux, Windows, or AIX
* Experience with infrastructure automation approaches and tools such as Ansible and Terraform
* Experience working with container based approaches
* Familiarity with cloud computing such as AWS
* Experience with monitoring tools
* Familiarity with virtual desktop infrastructure
* Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Lean, Theory of Constraints)
* Must have a collaborative mentality with an ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Ability to advise technicians, engineering designers or other technical support personnel as needed and recommended enterprise level system changes
* Evaluate factors such as reporting formats, cost constraints, and need for security restrictions to determine appropriate hardware and/or software configuration
* Experience ensuring DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) are understood and solutions are automated
* Troubleshoot outages or other system errors and implement/recommended fix actions, as necessary
* Must be a US Citizen Preferred Skills: * CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (must be willing to obtain) * Operating System Certificates validating depth of knowledge BENEFITS Our company OST has been operating since 1996 and have various contracts with Government agencies.
