Description Primus Aerospace is a leading manufacturing partner to aerospace, defense, and space OEMs, Primes, and Tier I suppliers. The company specializes in producing high-tolerance, complex geometry parts machined using standard and exotic metals. Primus works directly with all major aerospace manufacturers (e.g., Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman) to provide components for mission-critical civilian and defense programs. Note: This role is open for various shifts including: * 1st shift (M-F 6:00am - 3:30pm), base pay
* 2nd shift (M-F 3:30pm - 2:30am), base pay plus 10% night shift differential
* 3rd shift (F,S,S 6am - 6:30pm), paid full 40hrs for 36hrs worked Key Responsibilities * Previous CNC Operator experience: mill turn and lathe
* GD&T print reading
* Knowledge of calipers, micrometers, metrology.
* Experience with machine set-ups.
* Ability to indicate vices.
* Coordinate x, y, z
* Knowledge of machining principles.
* Operate CNC machines from provided work instructions from work order or set up personnel
* Verifying dimensional characteristics of parts
* Meet expected cycle times and production schedule
* Completion of all required paperwork in a timely manner Requirements * Previous CNC Operator experience; Min. of 4 years
* Previous set-up experience; Min. of 1 year
* Reading blueprints and using hand tools
* Prioritizing tasks and maintaining production goals
* Self-starter with a good attitude
* Attention to detail and a strong desire to produce quality products
* Experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing lean manufacturing techniques is preferred
* Previous experience in Aerospace or defense machining environment preferred.
* Ability to obtain secret security clearance highly desirable
