Lead Financial Officer (LFO) teams are Finance partners to the functions and businesses they support. This Cobranded Cards Financial Officer role will support the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the business in their efforts to establish and deliver financial objectives related to revenues, expenses, return on investment and capital
- Supporting short- and long- term budgeting, forecasting and planning processes through engagement with functional partners such as FP&A
- Advising and partnering with key function / business stakeholders, such as Cards leads and business execution leads, for financial business decisions and plans
- Developing and maintaining an understanding of our Cobranded Card products, their core mandate and strategic objectives
- Providing insightful analysis that contributes to performance based outcomes
- Supporting execution of the team's strategic direction
- Responsible for supporting various financial aspects of our Cobranded Card portfolios, including:
- Maintaining strong partnerships with business and other functional partners to support and inform financial business decisions and plans
- Partnering with other Finance stakeholders to assist business / function in meeting their financial objectives
- Partnering with business and functional leads to assess potential corrective actions for variances to financial plans through detailed analysis to determine best course of action
- Providing financial reports and analytics to business leads, including key financial metrics, results, trends and analysis
- Assisting in preparation of Quarterly Business Review materials
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience
- Knowledge of and / or experience working with financial services P&Ls, especially Cards
- Financial management experience, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, analytics and analysis
- Strong analytical and communication skills and proven ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders

- Bachelors/University degree, Master's degree preferred
