SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the leadership of a C&I Commercial Banking Team as well as individual production and portfolio management. The objective is to onboard new C&I Relationships (Deposits, Loans, Other Services), retention and cross-sell of the existing portfolio and the routine administration of the portfolio. This position also will serve as a leader for the bank in the markets served. Lead and Live the Mission, Vision and Values of Riverview Bank.
The salary for this role will be between $119,585 and $185,357. The specific salary offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to applicant's skills and prior relevant experience. Hired candidate may be eligible for healthcare benefits, 401K plan, short term & long-term disability coverage, life insurance, vacation & sick time, educational assistance, and several holidays. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Leads the C&I production function in an assigned market with the goal of expanding market share and the Bank's C&I customer portfolio (Deposits, Loans, Other Services).
- Leads a Business Development calling program designed to grow the number of new clients and increase the overall profitability of each client while adding value and ensuring each client has the products and services that support their success.
- Leads the annual customer Relationship Review Process.
- Develop and manage an ongoing prospect list fitting the desired criteria for the team.
- Use of the bank's Relationship Pricing Model ensuring properly priced relationships.
- Supports the efforts of the Credit Analysts, Portfolio Managers and Team Assistants.
- Monitors portfolio management reports for timely collection of financial information, annual loan reviews and covenant compliance.
- Develop and implement departmental operating policies when requested.
- Reviews Credit Memorandums prepared by Commercial Relationship Managers for proper loan structure, pricing, Risk Rating and full relationship. Acts as interface with Credit Administration in the loan approval process.
- Provides input to the Chief Lending Officer (CLO) concerning the adequacy of department staff. Makes recommendations on process improvements or needed changes.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mentor and recommend training for Commercial Relationship Managers.
- Works closely with the Director of Portfolio Management, Portfolio Managers, Credit Analyst Manager, Credit Analysts, Team Assistants and other department leaders.
- Coordinate as necessary with other departments.
- Participates in and completes training objectives with passing scores.
- Follow all state and federal laws, and all Riverview policies and procedures.
- Represent the Bank at various market functions and non-profit board service.
- Provide requested reporting information timely.
RELATIONSHIPS:
- Daily contact with Commercial Relationship Managers to ensure production functions are operating efficiently.
- Maintain strong working relationship with the Chief Credit Officer, Credit Administration and Loan Services.
- Maintain a close relationship with the Risk Management Department to ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Work continuously with other partners; Treasury Management, Merchant Card, Retail, Mortgage and The Trust Department.

- Ability to understand credit related journals, bank lending policy, and governmental regulations.
- Ability and proven experience in credit underwriting and loan structure that protects the bank and increases the probability of repayment as agreed.
- Ability to resolve day-to-day situations and deal with a variety of issues that may arise in working with customers, team members and prospects.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Basic skills associated with the routine use of business office equipment.
