Description

Business Development Manager- Commercial Sector

Location: Texas - Remote available if in the state

Job Type: Full-time

About Us: The company is a leading provider of advanced, highly specialized metal fabricated parts. We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to join our team and help us expand our market presence in Texas and the United States, targeting the oil & gas and related markets. The ideal candidate will want to grow with the company and see the opportunity to take on a leadership role. Job Responsibilities:
  • Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify new business opportunities, potential clients, and industry trends. The focus will be on the commercial and heavy industrial markets (i.e. oil and gas, power generation etc).
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify, target, and engage with potential clients, presenting our products and services to meet their needs.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare compelling proposals and contracts, negotiating terms and closing deals.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with our product offerings and industry advancements to provide accurate information to clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to align sales efforts with overall business goals.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline updates, providing regular reports to management.


Position Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of sales and business development experience in the heavy industry sector or related sectors; relevant experience in supply chain or purchasing also sufficient
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to analyze market trends and data. Ability to interact with customers and maintain relationships. Willingness to travel
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of large-scale metal products, industrial applications and the target industry landscape.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Compensation:
  • Salary: Starting at $70,000 per year
  • Commissions: Earn up to 100% based on performance
