Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management within the HVAC or construction industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation processes, and relevant building codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools to track project progress and manage resources.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience with energy-efficient HVAC systems and sustainable building practices.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or other design software used in HVAC system design.
- Previous experience managing large-scale commercial HVAC projects.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage HVAC projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems into construction plans.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, including clients and upper management, to keep them informed of progress and any potential challenges.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, to maintain accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
