Commercial Lines Account Executive Healthcare Liability IN OFFICE

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish, cultivate, and manage customer relations with clients, carrier partners, and internal resources throughout the organization.
• Marketing new business and renewals and understanding, the products of our strategic carrier partners.
• Thorough understanding of Medical Malpractice Liability Insurance and other ancillary liability lines.
• Support the sales team with new business strategies and implementation of new clients.
• Cultivating strong relationships with carrier partners, doctors, medical firms, front office staff, and personnel in other Alera firms.
• Handling large accounts such as hospitals, multi-state risks, and private equity firms.
• Understanding laws and requirement differences between various states.
• Identify gaps in coverage and advise the client with options and work through complex coverage needs.
• Using AMS360, Microsoft Office Suite, COI generator, and other Alera HCL Tools.
• Manages ad hoc tasks related to account maintenance, as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Some College or work equivalent experience in Commercial Lines Insurance.
• Strong organization and written/verbal communication skills.
• Has active Property & Casualty License
• Strong interpersonal skills & self-motivated
• Minimum 10 year(s) of work experience in customer service.
• 7+ years of relevant insurance experience maintaining a book of business.
• Proficiency in MS Office software.
• Experience with AMS360 is a plus.
• Professional Insurance Designation preferred (ARM, CIC, etc).

Salary range is $100K to 150K per year.
