Summary

Senior Account Managers provide essential support to the Account Executives by delivering comprehensive insurance coverage and account servicing to more intricate and high-value clients. Senior Account Managers will participate in client meetings and serve as mentors, imparting their expertise and providing training to agency staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide crucial support to Commercial Lines Account Executives in nurturing and maintaining client relationships, both new and existing.
  • Collaborate with Sales Executives to understand client needs and offer comprehensive insurance coverage options.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • In partnership with the service team, ensure the accurate and timely processing of policy changes, renewals, endorsements, and other administrative tasks related to assigned accounts.
  • Take charge of policy renewals, negotiating terms with underwriters, and addressing coverage gaps or changes as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Account Executives to develop and execute strategies to meet business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting insurance proposals and presentations to clients.
  • Assist in identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize account retention and growth.
  • Collaborate with Sales Executives to identify and pursue new business opportunities, participating in client meetings and presentations as necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to provide informed recommendations to clients and Account Executives.
  • Maintain organized and accurate client records, documentation, and communication through the Agency Management System.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and service requests, resolving issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills relevant to the role.
  • Serve as mentor, sharing expertise and provide training to agency staff.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to uphold operational standards and maintain ethical business practices.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, or other related fields is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on commercial lines account management.
  • Hold current and valid Property and Casualty insurance license.
  • Hold at least one professional designation, such as CIC, CPCU, CRM or other relevant programs or the ability and willingness to attain designation within 18 months.
  • In-depth understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and policies.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct risk assessments, analyze coverage needs, and propose suitable solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, ensuring accurate and timely policy processing and documentation.
  • Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and underwriters to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite. Prior experience with AMS 360 and Image Right preferred.
  • Proficiency in orchestrating and hosting virtual meetings using platforms like Teams and Zoom, encompassing the capability to share screens and deliver presentations (e.g., PowerPoint, Proposals, etc.).


Salary Description

$110,000 to $115,000
