Transform Energy is seeking a Commercial Sales Representative. This position is a solar sales professional engaged in identifying, qualifying and closing renewable energy product sales including but not limited to solar renewable energy certificates (SREC), solar products and solar maintenance contracts to businesses in the assigned sales territory. The Sales Executive will conduct activities related to lead generation, initial contact and management of the entire sales process through to completion.
**This position may involve a mix of on-site and remote days, typically, within the same week. The onsite location is Escalon, CA.**
**This position requires frequent travel**
**A valid driver's license is required**
**A successful completion of background check is required**
COMPENSATION
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Meet assigned sales and gross margin targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
2. Maintain a committed and highly visible field presence with current and future clients.
3. Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and honesty in all sales activities.
4. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor during sales calls and at company events.
5. Participate in the full sales cycle, from lead generation to sale closing.
6. Conduct financial analysis on the commercial customer's energy usage and demonstrate the value of solar to the customer in both short-term and long-term impact.
7. Use CRM software tools to track progress and document the sales process.
8. Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing online tools to complete solar system modeling.
9. Provide timely and accurate documentation of schedule, activities, and expenses.
10. Generate and present professional project proposals and quotes.
11. Engage in client visits, community events, tradeshows, and other events generating new sales leads.
12. Negotiate sales contracts managing overall deal size, gross margin and completion deadlines.
13. Coordinate with the operations team to effectively complete projects constantly monitoring for interruptions that may require client updates.
14. Maintain accounts on an annual basis.
15. Work closely with other members of the Transform team in a professional, engaging and productive manner.
16. Other duties as assigned.

- Experience in a commercial sales role with proven results.
- Proficient in the use of Salesforce, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Professional appearance.

- Ability to manage a flexible, demanding schedule including nights and weekends.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of solar energy and/or solar industry experience preferred
- Excellent math or analytical skills
- Knowledge of electrical engineering basics
- Public speaking
