A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMMERCIAL SERVICE GENERAL MANAGER

The experienced Commercial Service General Manager will lead our HVAC and Plumbing commercial services division. This role requires a strategic and operational leader who can drive business growth and profit, optimize service delivery, and ensure customer satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC and plumbing operations, team leadership, and business management.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A COMMERICIAL SERVICE GENERAL MANAGER

  • MEP Construction Background ideal
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in HVAC and/or Plumbing Commercial services.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC and/or Plumbing systems, maintenance, and service
  • operations.
  • Proven track record of managing P&L, budgeting, and financial performance within a service-based
  • business.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic growth plans and operational improvements.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, safety compliance, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

For the Commercial Service General Manager MEP background and OSHA 30 certifications are preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
