About the Team:

We are building a foundational Solutions Engineering team for our Corporate segment. This segment helps security and compliance teams in the mid-enterprise to assess their readiness for attacks, adherence to standards, and alignment with best practices in their most important day to day SaaS applications. About the Role:

This role will be the inaugural Solutions Engineer for the Corporate segment working very closely with your Account Executive counterpart on acquiring accounts where the following problems and risks are most prevalent and consequential: Healthcare, Finance, and high-tech organizations with 1-3k employees.

This inaugural Solutions Engineer, along with the Director of Technical Field Ops, will expand and develop best practices for the future growth into this market.

As a Corporate Solutions Engineer you will be responsible for:
Preparing and deliver technical presentations to prospective customers
Actively driving technical proof for our prospects
Working with the Corporate Sales team hand in hand as the technical advisor in the sales process
Serving as a subject matter expert on SaaS security challenges and solutions
Partnering with prospects in a technical and educational capacity throughout the sales cycle
Conducting field reconnaissance to provide feedback and insights to product management and engineering
Staying up to date on the competitive landscape

About You:
Hungry, humble, smart with a desire to jumpstart your Solutions Engineering career
Passionate about value centric demonstrations
Ability to execute on level 2 and beyond technical discovery
Strong communication abilities to be the Corporate field facing technical ambassador
A solid understanding of Cloud and SaaS security concerns
Experience interacting with APIs, integrations, and middle-ware
Competitive and market intelligence reconnaissance abilities
Willingness to travel depending on customer opportunities

Preferences:
Cybersecurity experience
Versed in software engineering
Attended demo and value centric selling (i.e. Demo2win, customer centric selling, etc).
Experience in high growth environments

  • Comp Range: $170k - $180k per year

Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards [and incentive compensation] based on factors such as experience, skills, and location.
