Commodity Manager

As a Commodity Manager at Turck, you will:

• Develop and execute effective commodity strategies that align with company objectives.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure a stable supply chain.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement to optimize performance.
• Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
• Lead and mentor a team of Sr. Buyers and Buyers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business with a technical focus.
• 7+ years of experience in sourcing, buying, and negotiating with suppliers in the industrial automation industry.
• Proven track record of achieving cost savings and improving supply chain efficiency.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and procurement software.
• Familiarity with electromechanical components, electronics components, metal components, connectors and sockets, plastics and rubber products.
