This Communications Manager position is a unique and exciting communications role supporting Building Automation and the broader Atlanta community. In this role, you will be leading internal communications BA's Products businesses (Global Fire, BMS, Security & Access Solutions), BA's Commercial function and continuing to grow BA's Corporate Social Responsibility program in Atlanta. The selected candidate will work closely with multiple senior leaders and will develop and execute strategic communications aligned closely to BA's growth priorities using new and existing communications channels.
As part of CSR communications, the candidate will help establish and expand an Atlanta-based community engagement council, identify opportunities for community engagement and promote our CSR efforts across our global team.
This position reports to the Sr. Director, Internal Communications for Building Automation.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic communications for BA's products businesses as well as the Commercial function.
- Maintain and enhance relevant communications channels; deliver best practices and innovation to improve employee engagement.
- Elevate employee stories across BA and Honeywell; align to cross-Honeywell campaigns.
- Shape, develop and execute BA's CSR/community engagement communications strategy.
- Develop clear and concise written communications and town halls.
- Help innovate communications via new thinking and contemporary channels.
- Take on special assignments as needed.
MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of experience developing communication strategy for a mid or large size company.
- 2 + years developing and executing internal communications and employee engagement programs.
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English or related field.
- Strong creative writing skills, with the ability to develop clear, concise messages for executive level communications.
- Demonstrated experience developing communication strategies/plans.
- Strategic thinker, self-starter and natural leader who wants to grow in communications profession.
- Strong independence and a hunger to push boundaries.
- Experience developing and managing digital programs, content and editorial performance.
- Can proactively identify issues that would result in employee dissatisfaction and recommend and execute actions to eliminate or minimize impact.
- Ability to work effectively across a matrixed business.
- Translate business processes and terminology for diverse audiences.
- Can manage multiple projects - both long term and fast turnarounds.
