Community Care Solution Advisor Project Manager

Support translation of Cerner capabilities and nomenclature to enable VA understanding in partnership with the Solution Expert. Bring the VA-assigned solution experts up to speed in their respective areas with solution knowledge. Review and help the Solution Management Administrators (SMA) with the task orders and deliverables, and ensure they are received on time and are completed accurately per program office requirements. Provide support to the SMAs and members by assisting in the current state workflow/requirements analysis. Assist in future state workflow design and diagrams. Identify potential risks and pain points in the workflows. Assist with management, escalation, and resolution of trouble tickets and change requests. Assist in reporting requirements/mapping/identification. Assist in the development of EHRM testing scripts and support all EHRM testing types and EHRM testing events. Review and assist in managing issues and risks with mitigation plans. Work with Oracle Health and VA in build/design/workflow changes. Assist in the review of training manuals and job aids. Assist and support in cutover/go live planning and post go live support. Assists with development and review of workplans. Provide solution knowledge expertise on Referral Management and Community Care.

Provide administrative support to Solution Teams by managing, tracking, and providing logistical and programmatic support to Solution Teams, including:
  • Facilitate collaboration between the VHA Council Management Team (CMT), EHRM-IO OFC CMIO/CNIO, Oracle Health, EHRM-IO OFC CMIO-CNIO Operations, EHRM-IO DCIO, EHRM-IO PCD, VHA RDM, and local sites
  • Support Informaticists, as requested for Solutions, by providing strategic planning, administrative support, documentation, etc.
  • Support Solution Expert and Solution Advisors in translation of functional requirements
  • Collaborate with Solution Advisor and Solution Expert to support ticket management activities, to include logging, tracking, and updating tickets
  • Facilitate Solution Team meetings to include coordination, developing agenda, and managing action items
  • Track and update change request tickets in support of the Solution Expert and Solution Advisor within the various ticketing applications
  • Support the Office of Functional Champion Testing Team (OFCt) with testing activities
  • Coordinate and monitor Oracle Health activities to support scope and schedule management
  • Provide Project Management support to include:
  • Assist with developing, executing, and managing business processes
  • Develop and review internal and external briefing materials and deliverables
  • Assist Analysts with deep dives on individual subject areas, such as Risk Management

Minimum qualifications:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • 10+ years of professional work experience
  • Knowledge of Cerner on Referral Management and Community Care solution configuration
  • Experience managing Information Technology related projects
  • Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
  • Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress
  • Able to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in the VA
  • Experience implementing electronic health records
  • Millennium experience on code levels 2018 or higher
  • Understanding of Cerner Model recommendations
  • Ability to work independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software for a healthcare/clinical environment
  • Analysis and development of Current/Future State workflows required
  • Experience managing functional validation and end user testing for Cerner (or other EHR) and integrated third party solutions
  • Experience leveraging ServiceNow's out-of-the-box features to customize reports and solutions for clients. Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups to evaluate and escalate tickets
  • Strong leadership, written/oral communications, analysis, data gathering and organization skills
