Position Overview: As the Community Marketing Director at Cedarhurst Senior Living, you will play a crucial role in driving the marketing strategy for our communities. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a passion for excellence in execution. You will be responsible for analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape to develop marketing strategies that align with business objectives. Additionally, you will lead competitive research, outbound marketing efforts, event planning, sales tool development, and budget management.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute outbound marketing strategy, plans, and campaigns for new developments, re-developments, and focus communities.
Strategically plan and execute portfolio-wide events to drive brand awareness and engagement.
Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape to develop marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
Lead competitive research, including the development, process, and analysis of key findings.
Manage and maintain sales enablement platforms such as centralized sales tools ordering.
Lead the development of sales tools and materials to support the sales strategy.
Strategically plan grand opening events, including follow-up and optimization efforts.
Monitor individual community marketing performance and identify opportunities for special marketing initiatives.
Develop and manage budgets for community-specific campaigns and initiatives.
Work cross functionally with and through Marketing Team members to develop community specific website enhancements/optimizations, PR plans, community specific social media initiatives, paid media plans, etc.
Coordinate and collaborate with Sales, Operations, Culinary, and Programming teams to support their needs through the development of resources and collateral.
Lead and develop Marketing Specialist and Creative Specialist.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and excellence.
