Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters with a focus on partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, and securities.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
- Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials, advocating effectively on their behalf.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and develop tailored legal strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes in a cost-effective manner, always considering the best interests of the client.
- Stay current with legal developments and trends in commercial litigation and related areas.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Barred in FL
- 5+ years of experience in commercial litigation
- Proven track record of success in handling complex litigation cases, including trial experience.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present cases in court and negotiations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple cases and deadlines.
