Compensation Range:
$102,128.00 - $134,930.00

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Maintains 24 hour-a-day accountability for all patient care and nursing activities on assigned inpatient unit. Oversees and directs unit activities including standards development, human resource management, assessment of resource needs and utilization, staff development and communication within nursing practice as well as among other disciplines and departments. Oversees all performance improvement activities at the unit level and participates in committees at all levels within the institution.

FT position, primarily days

Accountable for the clinical, human resource and fiscal aspects of psychiatric mental health nursing in Triage and Screening and Extended Observation Beds. The program serves patients with emergent psychiatric issues across the entire age range in the context of a dynamic, collaborative, interdisciplinary setting. Member of the interdisciplinary CPEP leadership team. Reports to the Director of Nursing for Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Service. Excellent opportunity for someone with a strong leadership skills and a commitment to high quality patient care and working with families. Strong communication skills and experience with staff development. At least 5 years of psychiatric nursing experience, previous experience in nursing management and a Master's Degree in Nursing is preferred. Experience with implementation of a customer service philosophy of patient-family centered care and teamwork values.
