Computer Network Architect, Senior

Geodesicx, Inc. is searching for a Computer Network Architect Senior to join our team.

Location:

Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) California, MD, and Remote Locations

Contract Summary:

Position is contingent on imminent award. As a senior member of the SOF C5ISR network team, you will lead the design and implementation of advanced network architectures. This role demands deep technical expertise and leadership in creating scalable and secure network solutions for special operations forces.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex network solution projects for SOF C5ISR systems, from design to implementation.
• Provide expert assessments for network enhancements and strategic direction on technology integration.
• Mentor and guide junior network architects, promoting best practices in network security and performance.
• Coordinate with government and military stakeholders to ensure network solutions meet strategic objectives and compliance standards.

Required Skills:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 14 years of experience.
• Over 10 years of senior-level experience in network architecture, particularly in secure environments.
• Expertise in advanced networking technologies, security protocols, and system integration.
• Eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance, with a Secret clearance acceptable initially.

Desired Skills:

• Leadership experience and advanced network certifications (e.g., CCIE).
• Prior experience in government or military network projects.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
