JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH JT4
The Computer Scientist VI will design and program software that supports flight test operations by creating software to automate tasks, including: scheduling, test operations and other programming using Microsoft automation tools and in-house source code.

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
The incumbent must have a master's degree in an associated discipline and at least 16 years of experience, or a PhD in an associated discipline and at least 12 years of experience. Incumbent must possess effective oral and written communication skills. Must be an expert with computer based systems and applications. Must have demonstrated expert programming skills in languages used for job specific programming tasks. Incumbent must be an expert in the application of industry standard hardware and software design and documentation techniques. Must have experience with systems engineering and software development lifecycles. The incumbent must possess a valid, state-issued driver's license. Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $140,670 to $168,812 annually.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness are required. Travel to remote company work locations may be required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH JT4

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Interact with customers and assist with the interpretation of customer requirements
- Moderate coding skills in Python, SQL, C, C#, ASP Classic, and .NET Framework (WPF)
- Use judgment and initiative in developing analytical and computational technologies and methodologies for problem solving and advise team and project managers on technical problems
- Work with team members to develop the most appropriate approach to solve technical problems
- Implement design through software coding, assist in the design of system/software, create appropriate design documentation and team reviews
- Plan and execute unit, integration, and system testing
- Assist in maintenance and sustainment activities of system/software
- Perform other job-related duties, as required create
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Understanding of Operational Relational Mappers
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL Queries, Django
- Python Programming
