Job Summary:
VSolvit is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst with an Active Secret Clearance ( Top Secret preferred) with an understanding of Electronic Warfare (EW) and threat
simulation to join our team in the Laboratories at Naval Air Station (NAS) Point Mugu in Southern California.
The successful candidate will work in this beautiful coastal location between Malibu and Santa Barbara at the Naval
Base Ventura County, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, and on one of many projects across multiple
areas: Electronic Warfare Integrated Laboratories, Airborne Electronic Attack, or Multi-Spectral Defense.
** This position is 100% on-site at NAS Point Mugu, CA ***
As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal
working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook,
communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), and staying focused on the assigned tasks including company
meetings, and completing other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and develop computer software possessing a wide range of capabilities, including
numerous engineering, business, and records management functions.
Develop plans for automated information systems from project inception to conclusion.
Analyze user interfaces, maintain hardware and software performance tuning, analyze workload
and computer usage, maintain interfaces with outside systems, analyze downtimes, and analyze
proposed system modifications, upgrades and new commercial off the shelf (COTS) products.
Coordinate closely with programmers to ensure proper implementation of program and system
specifications.
Implement, test, and maintain software applications.
Review software release documentation to make recommendations and determinations on
appropriate implementation.
Perform routine IT system and application administrator duties to include patch management,
account management, and issues management.
Coordinate administration operations with appropriate server and database administrators.
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, Information Systems or Computer Science.
10 years of experience to include experience within DEVSECOPS environments, DoN Business
development and sustainment, Personnel, Logistics and Maintenance Systems.
Active Secret clearance.
Ability to work with multiple hardware and software operating systems, system architectures, and
network infrastructures.
Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through to completion on multiple tasks, often
under strict deadlines.
Ability to work closely with customers and software vendors to define expectations and mutual
responsibilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
MS degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, Information Systems or Computer Science.
Experience working with Navy IT Business systems including NTCSS, NALCOMIS/OOMA.
Familiarity with US Military Air platforms and/or their support infrastructures
Top Secret clearance
