COMSEC Manager

Job Summary:

Osi Vision is seeking a COMSEC Manager to support a U.S. federal client by developing and overseeing its Communications Security (COMSEC) program. The COMSEC Manager will play a critical role in safeguarding classified and sensitive communications through expert key management, incident response, training, and coordination with relevant federal entities. This position demands deep expertise in cryptography, regulatory compliance, and network security to support mission-critical objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage the COMSEC program for a U.S. federal client, ensuring adherence to federal security standards.
• Oversee the cryptographic key management lifecycle, including generation, distribution, secure storage, and destruction.
• Lead COMSEC incident management efforts, conducting investigations, reporting incidents, and implementing corrective actions.
• Design and deliver comprehensive COMSEC training programs to ensure personnel compliance with security protocols.
• Act as the primary liaison between Osi Vision and U.S. federal client stakeholders for all COMSEC-related activities and requirements.
• Evaluate and enhance COMSEC systems and processes to maintain robust security and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Osi Vision's IT and security teams to integrate COMSEC practices into broader network security frameworks.
• Maintain meticulous records, audits, and documentation of COMSEC materials and activities.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

• Extensive experience in COMSEC program management, with a focus on cryptography, key management, and incident response.
• Demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance with federal government standards.
• Strong background in network security principles and practices.

Certifications:

• Required: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or other relevant certifications.
• Required: NSA or DoD Service-level COMSEC certification.

Clearance: Active Top Secret security clearance is mandatory.
