En tant que concepteur audio technique senior, vous serez responsable de l'intgration des effets sonores, de la musique et des dialogues dans nos jeux. Ceci englobe du simple dclenchement d'effets sonores l'entire conception audio systmique avance, au moyen de diverses solutions de logiciels intermdiaires. Vous travaillerez sur une technologie audio de pointe, en dveloppant des systmes audio et en intgrant le son dans le jeu pour offrir des expriences de jeu passionnantes. Vous ferez partie d'une quipe axe sur la collaboration, o vous aurez la possibilit de contribuer de manire significative.

  • Concevoir, intgrer et dboguer des systmes audio pour le dveloppement de jeux en utilisant divers moteurs et logiciels intermdiaires, comme Unreal, Unity et Wwise
  • Combler le foss entre les concepteurs audio et les programmeurs pour tre l'intermdiaire entre les deux disciplines
  • Collaborer avec des concepteurs et des programmeurs pour dvelopper des systmes/outils permettant aux concepteurs audio de concrtiser davantage leur esthtique sonore
  • Travailler avec l'quipe de dveloppement pour concevoir de manire innovante des outils audio de pointe pour les dialogues, les effets sonores et la musique utiliss dans les jeux
  • Adopter et amliorer le processus de dveloppement audio existant
  • Grer les budgets des donnes audio, l'organisation des sessions Wwise, la structure et le chargement de SoundBank, et les optimisations audio d'excution
  • tre responsable de la documentation des systmes audio et de la formation des crateurs de contenu aux meilleures pratiques en matire d'audio


As a Senior Technical Audio Designer, you will be responsible for the integration of sound effects, music and dialogue in our games. This will include simple sound-effect playback and advanced systemic audio design utilizing various middleware solutions. You will work on cutting-edge audio technology, expanding audio systems and integrating sound into gameplay to deliver exciting gaming experiences. You will be a part of a collaboration-oriented team where you will have the opportunity to contribute in meaningful ways.

  • Designing, implementing, and debugging audio systems for game development utilizing various engines and middleware options, such as Unreal, Unity and Wwise
  • Bridging the gap between audio designers and programmers to be the go-between for the two disciplines
  • Collaborating with designers and programmers to develop systems/tools to allow audio designers to further realize their audio aesthetic
  • Working with the development team to design cutting-edge game-audio tools for speech/SFX/music in innovative ways
  • Adopting and improving the existing audio development process
  • Managing audio data budgets, Wwise session organization, SoundBank structure and loading, and run-time audio optimizations
  • Taking responsibility for documenting audio systems and educating content creators in audio best practices


Qualifications

Comptences requises
  • Au moins 5 ans d'exprience en tant que concepteur audio ou concepteur audio technique dans l'industrie des jeux, avec au moins 3 cycles complets d'un titre distribu pour PC et/ou console
  • Excellente matrise des logiciels intermdiaires audio, c'est--dire de la conception de systmes audio sous Wwise, idalement sur des titres AA ou AAA
  • Vaste exprience en intgration audio dans des moteurs de jeu, notamment Unreal et Unity
  • Matrise des scripts (JSON, Lua, Python, Blueprints, etc.) pour les moteurs de jeu et les logiciels intermdiaires en audio
  • Matrise de C# et bonne comprhension de C++
  • Excellentes capacits communiquer, et aptitude grer plusieurs projets
  • Capacit travailler de manire efficace et autonome avec une grande minutie
  • Comprhension de base du DSP et comptences en programmation audio
  • Comprhension du processus d'ingnierie du mixage, et des normes et mesures sonores


Comptences souhaites
  • Comptences avances en matire d'audio sous Unreal et/ou Unity
  • Exprience en dveloppement sur console (PS4, Xbox One, etc.)
  • Exprience en dfinition et en gestion de normes d'intensit sonore
  • Exprience en conception sonore, synthse et manipulation audio


Required Skills
  • 5+ years' experience as an Audio Designer or Technical Audio Designer within the games industry, with at least 3+ complete cycles of a shipped PC and/or console title
  • Strong proficiency with audio middleware, namely audio systems design in Wwise, ideally on AA or AAA titles
  • Extensive experience with audio integration in game engines, including Unreal and Unity
  • Proficiency in scripting (JSON, Lua, Python, Blueprints, etc.) for game engines and audio middleware
  • Fluid proficiency with C# and a good understanding of C++
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work efficiently and autonomously with a high attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of DSP and audio programming skills
  • Understanding of the mix engineering process and loudness standards within the industry


Desired Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in UE Audio and/or Unity audio
  • Experience with console development (PS4, Xbox One, etc.)
  • Experience defining and managing loudness standards
  • Experience with sound design, synthesis and audio manipulation
