Job Description:
The General Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of our concrete operations, including production, quality control, staff management, and client relations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the concrete industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of concrete production and delivery.
- Ensure quality control standards are met consistently.
- Manage and mentor a team of supervisors, technicians, and laborers.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
- Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the operation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the concrete industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of concrete production processes, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and financial performance.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
