Description:
Purpose of Position: To manage the process by which imi establishes, grows, and develops relationships with potential and/ or existing customers in order to increase company sales and growth.

- To develop, manage and direct the sales team and related marketing activities within the region; develops proposed sales volume and selling expense budgets and forecasts for the region
- Confers with the sales representatives to develop sales objectives for market areas and recommends pricing strategies and promotional programs for key customers; introduces new and existing customers to new product lines to promote growth of market share
- Tracks planned and negotiated projects. Also responsible for identifying, working with and tracking projects in the early stage of development.
- Forecasts short and long term sales volumes. Monitors market conditions and their possible effects on the company.
- Works with the Credit Department to help resolve major problems or credit issues with delinquent accounts.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments
- Other duties or special projects as assigned by management.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in the concrete and/ or aggregate industry with a firm foundation in market analysis and finance pertaining to the industry; or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in business management, finance, or a related field from a four-year college or university; or equivalent experience
- Must have a strong knowledge of all aspects of the industry, including operations, sales and accounting.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have the ability to lead and motivate; coach and counsel; participate in and facilitate group meetings.
- Basic computer skills, including Google Suite
- Unblemished MVR required
- Sense of urgency and good follow up skills
- Disciplinary/ attendance issues in the past year will disqualify any employee
- Spanish Speaking or Bilingual a Plus
- Must live in or be willing to relocate to sales territory
