As a Configuration Management Analyst, specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Duties:
- Develop and recommend strategies to optimize system configuration procedures.
- Performing research and analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of current systems.
- Implement solutions in problem areas and create configuration policies and regulations to improve workflow.
- Provide support by assisting in installation, troubleshooting, upgrading, and performing regular maintenance checks on systems.
- Serve as an intermediary between decision makers and management teams to track testing performance, conduct process mapping, and identify internal inefficiencies.
- Develop and present effective technical presentations to senior management and to technical/non-technical audiences; must possess strong written and verbal communications skills.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or Business, or other related fields.
- Capable of working individually, collaboratively, and report to a department head.
- Contributes to complex aspects of projects and conduct root cause problem analysis to develop technical solutions.
- Junior-level experience in the field of Configuration Management Analysis or related fields with the skills to work independently and seek guidance when needed.
- 4+ years of experience in one or more disciplines of Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or Business, or other related fields.
