Role Overview:
This job position is in Configuration Management as a Sr. Technical role at our Lenexa, KS business unit division. Role is an opportunity to support day-to-day delivery of Configuration Management services to the organization. Supporting Engineering and Internal Departments with documentation requests. Primary Responsibilities:
- Supports and works with the Configuration Management team focused on maintaining steady workflow and productivity in several aspects of engineering documentation duties to include drawing release, data entry, & change management.
- Assisting with compliance and maintenance of configuration management company standards and processes. Creating updates where necessary to improve efficiency for the organization.
- Maintain data items within a Product Life Management (PLM) system.
- Performs operational activities as defined by Configuration Management policies & procedures.
- Data Evaluation; evaluates data sets for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and conformity.
- Follows and understands company policies, procedures and processes.
- Participate in Change Review Board (CRB) meetings.
- Collaboration with Engineering staff and internal department associates.
- Support internal audits regarding Configuration Management processes.
- Review of documentation for data accuracy within a process workflow.
- Understanding of verbal instructions to complete job tasks.
- Be able to adjust to challenging and changing work priorities.
- Ensures department practices and procedures are followed by Engineering staff.
Knowledge, Experience & Education:
- Experience in Data Base Management tool SAP with knowledge in Master Data Entry.
- Knowledge of Team Center data management tool and process workflows.
- Understands basic management approaches such as prioritizing work and process execution.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical documentation experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft tools; word, excel, outlook E-mail.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
